The GXV690 V-Twin is adaptable to many different functions from commercial lawncare equipment to the more demanding range of construction and industrial equipment. It's often the engine of choice for tractors and small vehicles.

PROVEN RELIABILITY

The high capacity pump facilitates consistent oil delivery and a handy Oil Alert. Honda’s Oil Alert system prevents engine seizure due to a low oil condition. When the oil reaches a level that is too low for safe operation, the engine warns you or stops automatically. It's a great addition to help protect your engine. 

It features aluminium push rods with steel tips are lightweight with low vibration. Teamed with a high capacity 36 blade cooling fan, this engine is exceptionally quiet.

The result is a long-lasting, high-performing and reliable engine.

FUEL EFFICIENT OPERATION

Fuel economy is similar to fuel injection, with the simplicity of carburetion and it works brilliantly in the GSV690.

Honda’s Variable Timing Digital CDI ignition allows optimal ignition timing based on engine speed. The results in excellent starting, high power output, reduced fuel consumption, and outstanding emissions performance. An engine rev limiter is also incorporated to prevent over-revving.

FUEL EFFICIENT OPERATION - The fuel economy of the V-Twin is similar to fuel injection, with the simplicity of carburetion ensuring that running this unit is easy on both your pocket and the environment. Featuring a digital CDI ignition system with variable timing, as well as a forged steel crankshaft and insert style rod bearings for efficient operation. There's also a rev limiter to protect against damage from over-revving. A hemispherical combustion chamber delivers rapid combustion, and it features Pressure fed crankshaft bearings. Add a two-barrel inner-vent carburettor for more precise fuel metering and a 9.3:1 compression ratio, and you'll be generating high power output without the need for premium fuel.
